An amazing price for and external hard drive of this size. I have it connected to my PVR to record over a 130 hours of HD programs and movies. So far, no problems. I just plugged it in formatted it and let it do the rest.

This is my first external hard drive,but so far it's not giving me a headache yet, so I recommend. I'm using it with an Imac and a lenove windows as storage.

I have had this external for a little over a week. As soon as I got it, I took everything from my 500GB external and put it on this one. Yes, it takes some time to transfer big files, like movies and whatnot, but that is expected. For the price, it is a great buy. I was a bit weary, being that I have never owned anything Iomega, but I am glad I took the chance.

Pluged it in and never had to do anything else. System work much better now that I have been able to store a lot of images and such off of the main drive.
