I've had this drive for a month to do backups. So far so good. I never think about it which is about the best praise I can give it.

It seems to work ok, but it would have been nice if they had included some instructions on how to get it to work. I was under the impression that all you had to do was connect the wires and it was ready to go.

The price was very low, so since it does the job, I am very satisfied! Their is no On-off switch. The hard drive shutdown when the computer does.

The headline says it all. Fortunately nothing copied over that I didn't have a back up for. Iomega just hasn't improved in any aspect of quality. Buyer beware!

I load all the stuff from all the Hard drive from my home , It seem to work beautifuly , do not see any problem yet , this one is my Third external hard drive that i own from Iomega . Good product at reasonable price ...!!

I bought it to gain extra space for backing-up. I hooked it up and that was that. It's soooo quiet, I forget I have until I use it. Fast and quiet transfer !!! THX

I rated this unit quite well in all things except features only because I use this 1TB drive as an as-needed storage and don't like to have it powered up all the time except when necessary. Would prefer an on off switch so that once I have completed file transfer, I can then power it down without unplugging it. This is one feature I feel is important. Otherwise works great!

The drive enclosures on three out of the four external drives I purchased failed within six months. I bought new after-market drive enclosures rather than have Iomega fix them under warranty. Iomega used to mean quality.

though it may be cheap and of large memory capacity, it is rather bulky, slow, and if dropped even a few inches it discontinues working... this has happened to mine and a few friends of mine as well... if you plan on any kind of traveling this product is not for you! there is also no warranty and the iomega tech support is almost non existent mush less helpful in any way! not a good product... lo over 500G of data!
